Job summary

Qualifications

• Education level required: High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent.
• Minimum experience required: 2+ years of fraud/loss prevention experience in financial services or similar.
• Familiarity with banking core systems and loss prevention concepts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service Monitoring and responding to fraud-related calls.
• Retain authority during afterhours/weekends to determine law enforcement involvement.
• Advise branch personnel and customers on holds or freezes due to potential fraud.
• Participate in on-call weekly rotational schedule including afterhours and weekends.
• Evaluate loss situations and identify suspects and root cause.
• Apply regulations (Reg CC, Reg E, UCC) to reduce loss exposure.
• Respond to inquiries from customers, law enforcement, regulators, or the business community.
• Facilitate asset recovery actions.
• Report findings and suggest process improvements to reduce risk.
