Job summary

American Express is seeking a Product Manager for Fraud & Payments to shape the product strategy, collaborate with engineering and design, define user stories, and drive user testing.

You will work with Accertify Decision Sciences to strengthen ML models, manage multiple projects, and coordinate go‑to‑market efforts across marketing, sales and partners.

The role focuses on researching opportunities, documenting requirements, tracking metrics, and ensuring teams stay aligned with the roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering and design to define user stories, lead product specifications, and conduct user testing.
• Work with the Accertify Decision Sciences team to identify new models to strengthen machine learning models.
• Manage multiple projects in line with the product strategy and roadmap.
• Coordinate between teams to launch products and features, managing post‑launch product and marketing activities.
• Conduct research and competitive intelligence to identify and exploit market opportunities.
• Develop technical requirements and specifications.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and partner teams to create a strong distribution strategy.
• Review, develop, plan and implement product strategy, support marketing efforts, and ensure functional teams are informed about new product offerings and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Research departments for potential new revenue streams.
• Ensure proper internal and external product documentation.
• Track product metrics and create internal measurement dashboards.
• Edit request logs and suggestions.
• Interact with customers and prospects to identify challenges and demonstrate how solutions can help solve them.
