Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Fraud Operations Director to lead our Enterprise team and advance global payments security, combining data analytics with predictive modelling to combat fraud.

You will manage a talented team, partner with Ravelin Technologies to refine fraud models, build Power BI dashboards, and develop strategic plans for fraud prevention initiatives across multiple regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience.
• Extensive knowledge of processing operations, administration, controls, and all processing phases.
• Experience leading teams, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team responsible for analysing and proactively identifying fraudulent transactions using data-driven techniques, statistical analysis, and predictive modelling.
• Continuously measure and improve merchant fraud portfolios performance through reducing false positives while maintaining high detection rates.
• Manage continuous development to dashboards and Power BI visuals to improve reporting processes both to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with technical partners at Ravelin Technologies to prioritize refinements and new features in the Ravelin fraud model to support evolving fraud prevention techniques
• Develop and execute tactical and strategic plans for fraud prevention innovation utilizing both historic authorization and fraud data
• Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing processing team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Oversee disaster recovery, backup processes, and cost center budgets, ensuring operational resilience and financial accountability.

What You’ll Own

For this full-time position, the good faith estimated annual salary range upon hire is $127,500.00-$192,525.00. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on the role’s responsibilities, level, and geographic location. The actual starting salary will be determined by a candidate’s experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training.
