Job summary

TikTok is seeking a Global Loss & Integrity Investigator to identify and address misconduct, data leakage, fraud and financial abuse within the company. You will develop procedures and data-led monitoring to detect financial anomalies and support enterprise risk management.

You'll interview employees, build cases, prepare senior management reports, and collaborate with HR, Ethics, Legal, and DPO to implement remediation and strengthen internal controls across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Crime Investigation, Finance, Business Management, or a related discipline.
• Significant experience conducting financial crime investigations, including analyzing large datasets to identify trends and typologies.
• Proven experience building internal investigation case-management systems, including allegation triage, root-cause analysis, and remediation processes.
• Experience performing internal fraud risk assessments and implementing remediation and control measures.
• Strong background investigating and advising on internal misconduct matters across an organization.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations of policy violations, data leakage, fraud and financial abuse and develop data-led monitoring systems.
• Identify, obtain, and analyze financial and operational data relevant to investigations.
• Interview employees, obtain evidence, draw conclusions, and recommend controls.
• Build cases with witness statements and evidence for potential losses.
• Prepare reports and communicate findings to senior management and HR, Ethics and Legal.
• Prepare work papers to document investigations with supporting evidence.
• Collaborate with senior management, Employment Relations, Ethics, Legal, and DPO, and external counsel.
• Assess internal fraud risk by monitoring platforms and undertakings deep-dive projects.
• Identify threats to the company and take timely actions.
