Zusammenfassung

Sentry Insurance Company in Nashville, TN or Goldsboro, NC seeks an SIU Desk Investigator to conduct basic to moderately complex claims investigations across auto, workers' comp, and commercial lines. You will compile and analyze information, interview witnesses, hire contractors, and refer cases to law enforcement as needed, while maintaining detailed notes in our case management system.

The role requires strong written and verbal communication, travel as needed, and collaboration with claim

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of related work experience; 4+ years preferred.
• Experience in some aspect of law enforcement, claims handling and/or criminal investigation preferred.
• Ability to travel as necessary to complete responsibilities.
• The ability to speak both Spanish and English is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Conduct basic to moderately complex claims investigations across auto, workers’ compensation, and commercial lines.
• Compile and analyze data from internal and external sources.
• Conduct recorded interviews and examinations under oath of insureds, claimants, and witnesses.
• Maintain detailed investigation notes within SIU case management systems and prepare summary reports.
• Refer investigations to law enforcement as required and manage court appearances as a witness when needed.
• Communicate with claim staff and law enforcement on conclusions of suspicious claims.
