Job summary

Turo is seeking an SIU Investigator to join the Claims Special Investigations Unit in Phoenix. You will investigate suspected fraud and misrepresentation, review evidence, interview involved parties, and document findings to support protection decisions.

The role requires 3+ years in relevant fields, strong investigative and analytical skills, and knowledge of regulatory requirements. This position offers a hybrid in-office schedule three days a week with a base salary range of $70,000–$80,000,

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in insurance claims, special investigations, fraud investigations, or related fields.
• Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with evidence-based conclusions.
• Knowledge of insurance claims, fraud indicators, investigative methods, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to identify organized fraud and misrepresented claims and preserve evidence.

Responsibilities

• Investigate claims involving suspected fraud, material misrepresentation, policy violations, or significant financial exposure.
• Review claim files and supporting documents to determine eligibility for protection.
• Conduct interviews and gather evidence from hosts, guests, repair facilities, vendors, and witnesses.
• Document investigative findings and maintain complete claim file records.
• Analyze claims to identify patterns and emerging fraud trends.
• Refer matters for expanded investigation, account action, or criminal investigation.
