Job summary

Robinhood in Denver seeks a Fraud Operations Intern to learn end-to-end fraud investigation, review alerts, determine fraud versus no-fraud, and help protect customers and the platform.

You will analyze data, identify emerging fraud trends, document rationale for each decision, and collaborate with product, engineering, legal, and compliance teams. In-person attendance is expected at least 3 days/week.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a full-time degree program with expected graduation Winter 2027/Spring 2028.
• Interest in fraud investigations and fraud typologies.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Review and investigate suspected fraudulent alerts using internal and external tools.
• Apply data analysis to identify emerging fraud trends and detection methods.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders as needed.
• Document rationale and refer cases to other Robinhood teams.
• Interact with customers regarding account information during active investigations.
