Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3+ years of relevant industry experience in risk or fraud investigations, identity and access management, analytics or security.
• Proficient with deriving insights from big data using SQL, Python, and AI tools.
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Complete risk analyses and manipulate data in complex data sets (SQL, Python, R, etc.).
• Inform our most complex enforcement decisions with high-level judgment.
• Identify gaps and risks in Amazon's current mechanisms and policies and propose solutions to product/policy owning teams.
• Use data and technical skills to scale deep-dive signals to identify many bad actors and quantify the issue.
• Own the complete life cycle of one or more complex problems from identification through scaling of solutions.
• Break problems into manageable pieces, prioritize, and deliver results in ambiguity.
• Conduct large-scale deep dives to derive insights about abuse tactics and related gaps in mechanisms and policies.
• Write documents for partner teams and executives to identify problems and drive alignment on solutions.
• Own partnerships with stakeholder teams and guide appropriate trade-offs with clear goals.
