Job summary

Amazon seeks an experienced industry specialist in risk and fraud investigations with advanced data analysis skills to lead high-impact projects across its stores. You will interpret risks using SQL, Python, and machine learning, and scale findings through analytics and technology to prevent abuse.

You will own complex problems end-to-end, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify gaps in policies, recommend solutions, and drive measurable impact for customers and selling partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience in risk or fraud investigations, Identity and Access Management, e-commerce, analytics, or security.
• Proficient with deriving insights from big data using SQL, Python, and AI tools.
• Proven ability to deliver complex projects across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Complete risk analyses and manipulate data in complex data sets (SQL, Python, R).
• Use high-level judgment to inform enforcement decisions.
• Identify gaps and risks in current mechanisms and policies and recommend solutions to product/policy owning teams.
• Use data and/or technical skills to scale deep dive signals and identify bad actors.
• Own the complete life cycle of complex problems from identification to scaling solutions.
• Break problems into manageable pieces and deliver results in ambiguous environments.
• Conduct large-scale deep dives to derive insights about abuse tactics and risks.
• Write documents for partners and executives proposing technical solutions and alignment.
• Own partnerships with stakeholders and guide appropriate trade-offs.
