Job summary

Modern Woodmen of America in Rock Island, IL offers a 11-week Fraternal Intern position that provides hands-on experience in strategy, communications, events, and member engagement. You’ll support projects to strengthen communities, improve member experiences, and bring our fraternal mission to life in a collaborative, purpose-driven setting.

This on-site internship runs 37.5 hours per week at $20/hour. You’ll assist with chapter setup, data collection and analysis, event planning, and capturing

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related field (3rd/4th year).
• Strong data analysis, customer experience, and project coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with insights translated to action.

Responsibilities

• Support chapter setup and transition activities under the new chapter model.
• Validate processes and workflows; identify training and communications improvements.
• Collect and analyze survey data to identify trends and insights.
• Assist with large-scale event planning and coordination.
• Gather member stories and impact narratives highlighting fraternal value.
• Support strategic initiatives through research and cross-functional collaboration.
