CareerPlug is a fully remote company in the United States seeking a Franchisor Business Consultant to manage a portfolio of franchise and association partners. You will drive adoption, lead launches, and grow locations across networks using strategic plans and data-driven storytelling.
You will present to brand leaders and field teams, build trust quickly, and own measurable goals like quota, adoption, and retention. Expect travel 40–50 days per year and occasional in-person events.
CareerPlug's mission is to help franchises build winning teams, and we do that by helping them fill the gap in their playbook with a systematic approach to hiring and retention. Our innovative recruiting and HR software serves over 60,000 growing companies.
We believe that people are the heart of our business and are committed to building one of the best places to work – anywhere. To us, that means putting care and purpose into our hiring process, providing meaningful development and training opportunities for our team members, and living our core values every day.
CareerPlug is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse team. Our executive team takes responsibility for creating a safe and welcoming environment built on inclusion and respect for all.
CareerPlug grows through partners. We sign franchise brands, associations and other networks, and their locations and members choose CareerPlug for hiring and retention. As a Franchisor Business Consultant (internally, we call this role Partner Growth Manager), you are the main point of contact for a book of these partnerships. Your job is to turn each partnership into paid locations — and keep them.
You’ll pick up new partners from our Sales team, lead their launch and training, and then build and run the plan that grows paid adoption across their network. You’ll earn the trust of the brand’s leadership and field team, win over their most influential franchisees, and use account data to show partners where hiring is working and where it can get better.
Travel to partner conferences is a key part of this role, not an occasional extra. Expect to travel at least 40–50 days a year, mostly to franchise and association conferences where you’ll meet partners, connect with franchisees, and sometimes present.
Some conferences run over weekends. When they do, you’ll get flex days to make up the time. If regular travel, including some weekends, doesn’t fit your life right now, this role may not be the right fit.
You know how franchise systems work, and you’re energized by influencing people you don’t manage and can’t simply sell to. You build trust quickly, follow through relentlessly, and hold yourself accountable to a number. You’re comfortable in front of a room — on Zoom or on a conference stage — and you can turn a spreadsheet of account data into a story that gets a partner to act.
This position pays a base salary of $90,000 plus an additional on-target bonus, paid quarterly, for a total on-target compensation of $120,400.

We’re fully remote in the U.S. This role includes regular conference travel (see Travel above), plus occasional travel to company/team events and at least one optional in-person company event annually. This role may be filled by any U.S.-based candidate. This is a remote position.
