The Opportunity

The Pricing and Contracting Franchise Manager oversees the pricing and contracting negotiations to lead teams in creating deals that leverage both pricing and contracting strengths appropriately. Responsible for breaking down barriers between the two functions and facilitating cross-training and knowledge sharing.

The Franchise Manager shapes understanding of the financial implications of terms and conditions, protects the organization’s contractual posture, and ensures adherence to the company's position on business terms. Assists the Franchise Sr. Manager in the overall operations of the assigned departments. Contributes and achieves results through managing subordinates (professional and support staff). Provides leadership to ensure both the franchise and department’s objectives and goals are achieved. Has full discretion on employment decisions for department staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions.

Key Roles And Responsibilities (required)

  • Advocate the business visions of pricing and contracts to senior leaders.
  • Interpret terms and conditions to articulate and advocate Roche’s standard position.
  • Understand the needs and priorities of customers within their respective franchise.
  • Ensure the overall financial and contract integrity of deals.
  • Collaborate with all franchise managers to support customer requests and minimize risk.
  • Work closely with the operations excellence team to improve processes and reduce cycle times in deal processing.
  • Ensure related pricing and contracting documentation, training, and systems support success.
  • Collect and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage escalations as needed.
  • Implement policies and procedures aligned with franchise strategies to ensure deal profitability.
  • Successfully roll out all pricing and contracting programs and promotions.
  • Encourage a culture of creative strategies to enable profitable deals and grow Roche’s market share.
  • Identify synergies between pricing and contracting functions and drive initiatives for harmonization.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Statistics, Market Research, Finance, Mathematics, Science, Business, or related field.
  • 5 years of professional business experience.
  • 1 year of leadership experience, direct or indirect.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and analytical tools.
  • Broad organizational and business knowledge.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and business trends.
  • Understanding risk management and revenue strategies.

You are able to work onsite in Indianapolis, IN. Relocation benefits are not available.

The salary range is $120,600 to $224,000, based on experience and qualifications. A discretionary bonus may be available. Benefits are detailed at the provided link.
