Job summary

Novate Legal Search is seeking a paralegal for our Franchise Law Practice Group in the San Fernando Valley. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of paralegal experience and can work with multiple lawyers in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

The role includes assisting with annual updates and Franchise Disclosure Documents, processing franchise regulatory filings, and supporting attorneys on a range of transactions while nurturing client relationships.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of substantive corporate, IP or transactional paralegal experience.
• California credentialing preferred but not required.
• Strong MS Office, Adobe, and Outlook proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist with annual updates and Franchise Disclosure Documents.
• Process and track franchise regulatory filings.
• Support attorneys on various transactions and projects.
• Nurture client relationships and conduct research.
