Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Paralegal in Falls Church, VA to support regulatory, transactional, and litigation matters. The role offers on-site work with a hybrid potential and a Thursday-to-Friday flexibility when appropriate, reflecting the firm’s collaborative and client-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree with at least three years of paralegal experience; franchise law exposure is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least three years of paralegal experience in a private law firm or corporate legal department.
• Franchise law experience is preferred but not required.
• Paralegal certificate is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Westlaw, PACER, and CM-ECF.

Responsibilities

• Franchise Regulatory & Contract Support: Prepare, review, file, and maintain franchise agreements, registrations, renewals, and amendments.
• Corporate & Transactional Support: Prepare franchise agreements, notices, terminations, and related documents; assist with mergers, due diligence, and closings.
• Litigation Support: Assist with pleadings, discovery, filings, and prepare exhibits for depositions, motions, and trials.
• Maintain contract management procedures and systems; organize and review regulatory documents.
