Home Franchise Concepts, a national franchisor, seeks a Franchise Paralegal to support the in-house legal team. You will draft agreements, manage disclosures, handle regulatory filings, and collaborate with compliance, sales, accounting, IT and operations from our Flower Mound presence.

The role is hybrid, with three days onsite in Flower Mound and two days remote, reporting to the Deputy General Counsel. Eligible candidates have strong drafting skills and in-house or franchisor experience.

Qualifications

• Strong drafting skills with heightened attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to work within Salesforce or a similar CRM and with e-signature platforms.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues independently.

Responsabilités

• Prepare documents for events in the franchise life cycle, including franchise agreements, renewals, amendments, notices, and terminations.
• Communicate with franchisees regarding legal-related requests and status of pending matters.
• Assist with annual updates to Franchise Disclosure Documents for all brands and ensure compliance with disclosure requirements, FTC regulations and state franchise registration laws.
• Provide guidance to cross-functional partners regarding franchise agreement provisions and FDDs.
• Assist in implementing best practices for legal and compliance using technology to improve efficiency.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Deputy General Counsel.
• Ensure timely completion of day-to-day franchise-related legal activities.
• Foster collaboration across shared services and brand leadership.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and identify process improvements.
• Make independent, sound decisions within established workflow.
