GolfTRK is seeking a Franchise Business Coach to partner with a portfolio of franchise locations and General Managers. You will analyze membership, revenue, expenses, staffing, instruction, programming, and marketing to drive profitability and member experience.
You will lead coaching cadences, conduct business reviews, help leaders set goals, identify gaps, and translate them into action plans. You will travel 25-50% to support new and existing locations and ensure brand standards.
Location: GolfTRK HQ (Kansas City Area) or Remote
Travel: Regular travel required (25-50%)
Reports To: President, GolfTRK
GolfTRK is building a national network of premium indoor golf training facilities around one simple mission: to be the best place to get better at golf.
The Franchise Business Coach (FBC) serves as the primary business partner, coach, and point of contact for a portfolio of GolfTRK franchisees and General Managers. The FBC helps operators build healthy, profitable businesses while consistently executing the GolfTRK operating model and delivering an exceptional member experience.
This is more than a support role. The FBC is expected to understand each location's business, identify opportunities and challenges, coach operators toward solutions, and create accountability around the actions that drive results. Success requires building trusted relationships while being willing to have candid conversations when performance or execution falls short.
Serve as the primary business coach for an assigned portfolio of GolfTRK locations, developing a strong understanding of each location's membership, revenue, expenses, staffing, instruction, programming, marketing, and profitability.
Lead a consistent coaching cadence with franchise owners and General Managers, including structured business reviews focused on performance, priorities, and accountability.
Help operators establish short- and long-term goals, identify performance gaps, and translate those goals into measurable action plans. Coach franchisees and GMs to become stronger operators rather than simply solving problems for them.
Celebrate wins and share best practices while helping underperforming locations develop clear improvement plans.
Monitor and coach operators around the KPIs that drive successful GolfTRK locations, including:
Use data to identify trends, diagnose problems, benchmark performance, and recommend specific actions. Help franchisees strengthen their understanding of unit economics, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance.
Help franchisees and General Managers consistently execute the GolfTRK operating model and brand standards.
Coach operators on staffing, scheduling, membership sales, member experience, programming, instruction, community engagement, and implementation of GolfTRK systems and best practices.
Conduct periodic business and operational reviews, addressing gaps in execution or compliance while protecting the consistency and integrity of the GolfTRK brand.
Help franchisees build strong local businesses, not simply operate facilities.
Coach locations on local marketing, grassroots business development, corporate partnerships, community engagement, leagues, events, junior programming, instruction, and other revenue-generating initiatives.
Identify successful programs and practices within the GolfTRK network and help replicate them across other locations.
Support new franchisees as they transition from opening into ongoing operations. Travel to new and existing locations (25-50%) to provide hands‑on coaching, operational support, and business planning.
Help new operators establish strong habits early, build momentum quickly, and avoid preventable performance issues.
Serve as an important connection between franchisees and GolfTRK headquarters. Identify recurring challenges and field-level insights and communicate them to the appropriate internal teams.
Partner with marketing, operations, training, technology, finance, and leadership to solve systemic issues and continuously improve GolfTRK's systems and franchisee experience.
We're looking for someone who combines strong business acumen with exceptional people skills. The ideal candidate:
Experience in franchising, multi‑unit operations, hospitality, fitness, membership businesses, golf, or another service‑based business is preferred but not required. Experience owning or operating a businessis a significant plus.
This role is for someone who genuinely enjoys helping entrepreneurs succeed. You'll work with high‑performing franchisees looking for the next level, new operators learning to run their first business, and occasionally operators who are frustrated or underperforming.
You should be equally comfortable celebrating a record month, digging into a P&L to understand why margins are off, helping a GM improve membership sales, and having a candid conversation with an owner who isn't executing the system.
You don't need to have every answer. You need to be curious enough to find it, credible enough that franchisees listen, and invested enough in their success to hold them accountable.
