Job summary

Michaels Stores in Bolingbrook, IL is seeking a Store Lead Framer to guide a team focused on building customer relationships and creating framing solutions. You will drive custom framing sales and assist customers in crafting memorable framing experiences.

Responsibilities include leading SOP adherence, coaching the team, planning workloads, meeting KPIs, and managing inventory and safety programs while acting as Manager on Duty and supporting with interviews and training.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Experience leading a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and Company programs; ensure compliance with laws and standards.
• Develop and coach the team selling behaviors.
• Lead delivery of high-quality custom framing solutions; plan workload with the Store Manager.
• Achieve KPI targets and guide the framing team to meet them.
• Review sales and production workload; plan sales floor time for networking.
• Manage inventory processes including shrink and safety programs.
• Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) and participate in interviewing and training.
• Promote respectful collaboration and uphold the company's vision and values.
• Assist with truck unloading, stocking, and Omni-channel processes.
