Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Brighton, MI is hiring for a part-time Store Associate to help customers with framing solutions and general store duties. You will assist customers, process transactions, and ensure a well merchandised and in-stock store environment.

You will support framing operations, measure and cut materials, and maintain the department while providing friendly service. Evening/weekend availability is helpful as hours vary.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills are required.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company policies to ensure compliance with laws and standards.
• Deliver sales and production results and complete framing orders with quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas; assist with replenishment.
• Provide friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they need in a well merchandised, in-stock store.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards; participate in omni-channel processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs and interact respectfully with customers and teammates.
• Assist with truck unloading and stocking; ensure truck standards are followed within budget.
