Job summary

The Michaels Companies is seeking a part-time Framer in Midland, MI. You will assist customers, perform framing tasks, and help maintain the framing department while delivering friendly service in a busy retail store.

Responsibilities include completing orders on time, using framing equipment, and processing transactions with accuracy. Experience in retail and selling products is preferred, with readiness to work nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Build relationships with customers while creating custom framing solutions.
• Deliver sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service; help customers shop and find what they’re looking for; ensure a well-merchandised, in-stock store.
• Operate cash register and cash handling to standards.
• Interact with others respectfully and promote the company’s vision and values.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking processes; ensure standards are followed within budget.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
