Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Newton, MA is seeking a Full-Time Framer Retail team member. You will help customers shop, create custom framing solutions, operate framing equipment and glass cutter, and maintain a well‑merchandised, in‑stock store.

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience preferred; experience selling products/services to customers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Deliver sales and production results.
• Act in lead capacity in the absence of the Framing Manager.
• Be a resource to assist and train other team members.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other areas; assist with replenishment.
• Provide friendly customer service and help customers find products.
• Handle checkout with accuracy and speed; promote rewards programs.
