Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Associate for our Houston area location to help customers craft custom framing solutions and maintain a well-merchandised, welcoming store.

You will assist shoppers, complete framing orders, and support Omni-channel processes in a fast-paced retail environment. Responsibilities include operating the POS system, processing transactions, and maintaining safety and store standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience is preferred.
• Ability to stand and move around the store for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies to ensure compliance.
• Assist customers in selecting framing solutions and provide friendly service.
• Complete framing orders accurately and on time with quality workmanship.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions to standards.
• Support omni-channel processes including online orders.
