Job summary

Michaels in Anchorage, AK is seeking a friendly Retail Associate to help customers build custom framing solutions and enjoy a well merchandised, in-stock store environment.

You will greet guests, locate products, operate the cash register, support the framing department, assist with Omni channel orders, and participate in truck unloading and stocking, with hours including nights, weekends and early mornings.

Qualifications

• basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
• retail experience preferred.
• experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers while creating custom framing solutions and deliver sales results.
• Help customers shop and find what they are looking for in-store.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service and provide a well merchandised, in-stock store.
• Operate cash register and cash handling to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
• Participate in truck unload and stocking processes.
