Job summary

Responsibilities

• Operates the cash register, collects money, makes change and issues receipts.
• Closes out the cash register, completes required paperwork and submits entire package to supervisor.
• Uses small framing shop equipment, including engraving machine and matt cutter.
• Prepares verbal and written estimates for customers and notifies when orders are complete.
• Calls in requests for framing supplies; processes returns and credits with suppliers.
• Provides customer service, answers telephones, places special orders, stocks merchandise received.
