Job summary

Michaels Stores in Chattanooga, TN is hiring a framing associate to help customers create custom framing solutions and provide excellent service in a busy retail setting.

You will handle framing orders, maintain the framing area, assist customers onsite, operate the cash register, and support omni-channel processes to ensure a seamless shopping experience. Regular lifting and standing are required.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills are required.
• Retail experience is preferred.
• Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company policies to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Provide custom framing solutions and build relationships with customers.
• Complete framing orders with high quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop and find products.
• Operate cash register and handle cash to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
