Title: Framing Construction Crew Leader

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary:

ODC Construction is seeking a Framing Construction Crew Leader to lead and manage a team of framing professionals on-site. This role is essential in ensuring the successful completion of framing projects, meeting quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands‑on framing experience, and the ability to motivate and direct a crew to achieve optimal results.

Reports to: Director of Construction

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead and manage the daily activities of the framing crew to ensure efficient, safe, and quality‑driven construction work.
• Oversee the execution of framing tasks, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety guidelines.
• Delegate tasks effectively and ensure each team member understands their responsibilities.
• Monitor crew performance and provide guidance and support to improve skills and productivity.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and ensure the team adheres to OSHA and company safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on‑site issues to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
• Collaborate with project managers, field supervisors, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with overall project goals.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure all work meets company and regulatory standards.
• Maintain communication with the project manager regarding crew progress, material needs, and potential delays.
• Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and materials, promoting efficiency and minimizing waste.
• Foster a positive, cooperative work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
