Job summary

Qualified candidates are proficient with hand tools, measuring devices, and fabricating sheet metal parts. This is a 1st shift, onsite role requiring teamwork and safety-mindedness.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to interpret a job order and bill of materials.
• Proficient with handheld tools and measuring devices.
• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts using common tools.
• Read rulers, tape measures, and metal squares accurately.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints or schematics to determine component location and type.
• Assemble and mount electrical wiring circuits, coils and controls as needed.
• Fabricate sheet metal parts using drills and screw guns.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets or fasteners.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety procedures.
• Work at different stations as production needs require.
