Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) is seeking an Assembler II - Framing at our Centerville, IA facility. You will fabricate and assemble frames for refrigeration systems per blueprints and schematics, using drill, screw gun, rivet tools, and measuring devices.

This role requires accuracy, teamwork, and a readiness to work at various stations in a fast-paced environment. You will read job orders, BOMs, and dimensioned drawings, assemble sheet metal parts, and mount electrical components as needed.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine components and placement.
• Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Fabricate/assemble sheet metal parts and mounting hardware with hand/power tools.

Responsibilities

• Read job orders and BOMs to identify required components.
• Assemble and mount electrical wiring, coils, controls, and sensors as needed.
• Fasten parts with bolts/screws/rivets and verify proper alignment.
• Work at multiple workstations and maintain clean, safe work area.
• Follow safety equipment requirements and document any tool wear or maintenance.
