Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR) in Keosauqua, IA is seeking an Assembler II - Framing to join our operations team. You will read blueprints and schematics to determine part needs, assemble frame components, and mount wiring per diagrams for refrigeration systems.

Use drills, screw guns, and metrology tools, while maintaining a clean and safe workstation. Responsibilities include fabricating sheet metal parts, verifying measurements, and rotating through workstations as production demands require.

Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and schematics to determine component needs.
• Read job orders and bill of materials to plan assembly.
• May assemble and mount electrical wiring, coils, controls and recording devices.
• Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts using drill, screw gun and other tools.
• Identify appropriate power and hand tools and use them safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and schematics to determine component needs and layouts.
• Assemble and mount electrical wiring circuits, coils, controls and recording devices.
• Fabricate sheet metal parts using drill, screw gun and related tools.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area on the production line.
• Work at different stations as production needs require.
