Job summary

KIT Custom HomeBuilders is hiring a Framer for the Sidewalls Department in our manufactured housing production facility in Caldwell, Idaho. You will build and position sidewall framing, measure and cut wood, install sheetrock as required, and ensure work meets safety codes and quality standards.

We offer full-time, year‑round schedules, weekly pay, overtime opportunities, and benefits. Starting pay is $24.00+ per hour DOE, with training provided and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience in framing/construction preferred; on-the-job training available.
• Ability to read measurements and use basic construction tools.
• Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble sidewall framing components for manufactured homes.
• Set and position sidewalls onto units as part of the production process.
• Measure, cut, and install wood materials according to specifications.
• Install sheetrock as needed and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and nail guns safely and efficiently.
• Climb ladders and work on rooftops as needed to complete tasks.
• Ensure framing and setting work meets quality and production standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production goals.
