Job summary

Intel Foundry is seeking engineers to design, develop, test, and debug software tools used in design automation for hardware products. You will capture user stories, write functional and test code, and automate builds and deployments to streamline workflows.

The role involves collaborating with Lithography, Process Integration, Device Physics, Circuit Design, and RET teams to understand frame structures and ensure tool functionality aligns with business needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
PhD in a related field with hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and debug software tools for design automation.
Capture user stories and requirements to inform tool design and functionality.
Write functional and test code to ensure software performance and reliability.
Automate build and deployment processes to optimize development workflows.
Conduct unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing of software tools for quality assurance.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align tool functionality with business needs.
