Job summary

Osmo is seeking a Technician, Quality Control in Elizabeth, NJ, to support fragrance manufacturing operations. In this role, you will perform quality control analyses, document results, and ensure compliance with quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Chemistry and at least two years of experience in a relevant environment, preferably fragrance or specialty chemicals. This position offers a base salary ranging from $67k to $81k, along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a quality control laboratory.
• Experience in fragrance, flavor, cosmetics, or specialty chemicals manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control testing of fragrance raw materials and finished products.
• Prepare samples and reagents for laboratory testing.
• Document analytical results in laboratory records and quality systems.
• Conduct first-level out-of-specification (OOS) testing.
• Identify and elevate quality issues to operations personnel.

Skills

Familiarity with fragrance QC testing practices

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently

Effective communication skills

Foundational knowledge of GCMS systems

Education
