Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. (SIA) is seeking a Manager, Fracture Mechanics for its Nuclear Analytical Services team. The role leads the fracture mechanics group, guiding probabilistic and deterministic analyses, staff development, and client engagement to deliver integrated nuclear solutions.

The position requires 12+ years in engineering with PM experience, P&L oversight, and travel up to 20%. Location-based responsibilities include coordination with domestic and international clients

Qualifications

• MS in Mechanical or Nuclear Engineering or related field.
• PhD and/or MBA preferred.
• 12+ years engineering experience with at least 5 years PM.
• P&L and budgeting responsibility for a technical product line.
• Proficient in probabilistic and deterministic fracture mechanics evaluations.
• FEA using ANSYS and ABAQUS.
• Knowledge of ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code III & XI.
• Experience developing/maintaining probabilistic/fracture mechanics software.
• Familiar with nuclear plant licensing regulations.
• Ability to travel up to 20% or more.

Responsibilities

• Lead fracture mechanics team delivering probabilistic and deterministic analyses for domestic and international clients.
• Provide technical leadership, staff development, and mentorship.
• Identify prospective clients and present to client groups.
• Manage client relationships, milestones, and deliverables.
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver integrated nuclear solutions.
• Develop strategic plans, hiring, and new markets for fracture services.
• Oversee Fracture Mechanics P&L and budgets.
