Job summary

lemlem, a women’s resortwear label based in New York, seeks a Fractional Technical Designer for 1 day per week. You will guide design development, optimize tech packs, and ensure precise fit with international vendors while aligning weekly objectives with the Senior Design Director.

You will work closely with Design, Sales, and Production to maintain quality and on-time delivery across all categories, from swimwear to ready-to-wear.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in fashion, design, or related field.
• 6+ years of technical design experience in contemporary and premium fashion brands.
• Experience leading fittings and setting POMs.
• Proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with seasonal collection specs and tech packs; support fit sample development.
• Evaluate fit samples and TOPs for specs, quality, and workmanship.
• Maintain product fit consistency and development processes.
• Advise on fittings with designers using live models.
• Communicate fit revisions in tech packs.
• Maintain pattern library and plan fit schedules.
• Update fit logs and develop POMs for wovens.
• Collaborate with design, sales, and production teams.
