Fractional Head of Investor Relations – Micro-Cap IR

Job summary

Gofractional seeks an experienced Head of Investor Relations to lead a new fractional executive IR program for a micro-cap company. This role translates strategy and finances into a credible market narrative and reports to the CFO.

You will build relationships with institutional holders, manage analysts, and own investor materials while coordinating earnings activities with the CFO and leadership team. On-site in Long Beach, CA at least one day per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on investor relations experience in micro-cap/public company context.
• Proven track record managing sell-side and buy-side analyst relationships.
• Experience leading investor conferences end-to-end, from selection to execution.
• Experience running investor calls and proactive outreach campaigns.
• Experience building and maintaining an investor deck and narrative.
• Proficiency with IR CRM, stock surveillance tools, and peer tracking.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships with sell-side and buy-side analysts, expanding coverage.
• Lead direct shareholder engagement with institutional holders and ongoing relationship cultivation.
• Track ownership levels and translate shifts into outreach strategy.
• Craft and execute an IR strategy grounded in business model, priorities and financials.
• Own earnings call preparation, scripting, Q&A prep, and coordination with CFO/leadership.
• Maintain IR CRM and stock surveillance to monitor trading activity and shareholder base movements.
