Job summary

Partow, a New York-based luxury brand, seeks an experienced Financial Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations. This hands-on leader will own the end-to-end accounting function, including financial reporting, inventory accounting, cash flow management, payroll, tax coordination, and monthly close, while collaborating with production, logistics, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Progressively responsible finance and accounting experience, including controller-level duties.
• Experience with GAAP, tax coordination, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage monthly close cycles and financial reporting across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

• Own the general ledger and financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, banking reconciliations, and weekly reporting.
• Coordinate sales tax, 1099s, and audits with external partners.
• Reconcile inventory in ERP/Shopify and manage landed costs.
• Oversee payroll, HR administration, and benefits coordination.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and founder on budgets and forecasts.
