Job summary

Arootah is seeking experienced Chief Technology Officers and senior technology leaders to join our advisor network, supporting clients in the alternative investment landscape on a project-based basis.

As part of the network, you may work with hedge funds, private equity firms, and family offices, delivering strategic technology leadership across infrastructure, architecture, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• CTO or senior technology leader experience in hedge funds, private equity, or financial services.
• Deep understanding of investment management technology infrastructure and operating environments.
• Proven track record of leading technology transformation and scaling enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Build, modernize, and optimize technology infrastructure across investment firms.
• Oversee systems architecture, cloud strategy, cybersecurity, and operations.
• Drive technology transformation, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Partner with investment, operations, and leadership to align technology with business goals.
• Lead vendor selection, systems integration, and governance initiatives.
• Manage technology risk, business continuity, and data security frameworks.
