Thriveon seeks a seasoned Fractional CIO to serve as a strategic advisor to mid-sized clients, aligning IT with business goals, driving growth, security, and scalability. The role is client-facing, with up to 50% onsite work at client locations in Minnesota.

You will shape IT roadmaps, lead strategic initiatives, and ensure proactive IT performance across environments. You'll guide executives on leveraging technology for profitability, manage relationships, and deliver measurable business

Qualifications

• Proven experience aligning IT strategy with business outcomes for mid-market firms.
• Ability to translate objectives into actionable technology initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Strong leadership in cross-functional environments and vendor management.

Responsibilities

• Make and defend technology recommendations to CEOs, CFOs, and COOs—connecting to revenue, margin, scalability, and resilience.
• Develop and maintain IT roadmaps aligned with client strategy, growth targets and operational needs.
• Translate business objectives into actionable technology initiatives and measurable outcomes.
• Oversee execution blueprints ensuring projects are scoped, budgeted, and delivered on time.
• Establish KPIs for IT effectiveness and report to leadership.
