Elliott Davis seeks a seasoned technology leader to serve as a trusted executive advisor to client organizations, aligning technology with business goals and guiding strategic digital transformation.

In this fractional CIO role, you will provide executive governance, budgeting, risk oversight, and vendor management, partnering with CEOs, boards, and IT teams to elevate performance and cybersecurity.

Qualifications

• Fifteen (15)+ years of progressive information technology experience.
• Experience in senior IT leadership roles (CTO/CIO/IT Director etc.).
• Proven success leading IT operations, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience developing technology roadmaps, budgets, governance, and executive reporting.
• Prior consulting or client-facing experience preferred.
• Experience leading ERP, cloud, cybersecurity, or business systems initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technology advisor to executives, boards, and internal IT leadership.
• Deliver Fractional CIO services with executive-level leadership, governance, and strategic direction.
• Assess client technology environments and develop roadmaps to improve efficiency, cybersecurity, scalability, and performance.
• Lead technology strategy, budgeting, governance, and investment planning initiatives.
• Provide leadership to client IT teams leveraging firsthand experience.
• Translate complex technical concepts into actionable business recommendations and risk-based decisions.
• Oversee cybersecurity, risk management, business continuity, regulatory compliance, and resilience programs.
• Provide executive oversight for cloud transformations, ERP implementations, infrastructure modernization, and systems integrations.
• Evaluate and manage technology vendors, contracts, licensing, and partnerships to optimize cost and performance.
• Establish and improve IT governance, operational processes, and service delivery frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and analytics to support growth.
