Ascent CFO Solutions is expanding its bench of elite financial leaders for fractional engagements across startups to growth-stage companies. You will design strategic financial roadmaps, lead fundraising and M&A efforts, and build robust financial architectures for diverse clients.

We seek executives who can transform data into strategic action, manage governance, and drive operational excellence while working remotely with selective client time across sectors like Tech, SaaS, and Real Estate.

Qualifications

• 15–20+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience with ≥5 years in a CFO role.
• Strategic visionary who translates data into actionable business strategy.
• Hands-on experience with venture capital fundraising and M&A deal execution.
• Comfortable across multiple industries including Tech, SaaS, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Real Estate.
• Willing to use QBO/NetSuite/Sage Intacct when needed; CPA or MBA preferred; advanced Excel skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; CPA and/or MBA highly preferred; strong Excel is essential.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CEOs to design and execute financial strategies.
• Lead fundraising rounds and M&A transactions from valuation to post‑merger integration.
• Build robust financial models, rolling forecasts, cash flow projections, and KPI dashboards.
• Present financial narratives to Boards and oversee accounting teams.
• Modernize accounting processes, controls, and audit/tax readiness.
