Job summary

Next in Natural, a Brooklyn-based holding company, is seeking a fractional CFO to shape the financial architecture across the portfolio. The role combines strategic financial vision with disciplined execution in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial setting.

You will lead KPI development, reporting for leaders and investors, and the capital strategy, including models, forecasts and diligence readiness. The position is part-time and hybrid, offering a monthly retainer with upside from value creation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in finance leadership with CFO or fractional CFO experience.
• Holding company or multi-brand portfolio experience required.
• Experience supporting successful capital raises (equity and debt) and preparing companies for diligence.
• Strong investor relations skills; an existing network is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build a clear, high-level financial structure across the holding company and each sister company.
• Define and track KPIs and ROI by brand, team and initiative so every dollar has a measurable return.
• Lead reporting and dashboards for leadership, the board and investors.
• Own the financial side of our capital strategy: models, forecasts, investor materials and diligence readiness.
• Support leadership in investor meetings and keep our investor network informed with regular, transparent reporting.
• Support M&A activities.
