Job summary

BELAY, Inc. is seeking a CFO for its Financial Solutions division.

This fully-exempt, remote role acts as a strategic fractional CFO for growing small and mid-sized businesses, delivering financial visibility, guidance, and growth support. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and client reporting, partner with accounting teams, manage multiple engagements, and travel occasionally to BELAY events.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Business or equivalent
6-8 years of experience as a CFO or senior-level strategic finance role
Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting with ability to provide strategic guidance
Experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and analysis
Experience managing multiple clients, engagements, or priorities with timely work
Strong client-facing communication and relationship management experience

Responsibilities

Lead financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting for assigned clients
Develop and maintain budgets and 13-week rolling cash flow forecasts
Advise client leadership on growth initiatives, cash flow, and risk management
Identify financial risks and opportunities impacting client performance
Support clients through periods of stabilization, growth, and transition
