Job summary

NOW CFO, LLC in Nashville is seeking an Accounting Manager – Advisory Consultant to lead day-to-day accounting for client engagements on a fractional basis and drive process improvements. You will perform month-end close, financial reporting, and internal control enhancements, collaborating with engagement leadership and client teams.

Ideal candidates bring 4–8 years combined public and corporate accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency with major accounting systems.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of public accounting experience.
• 2 to 4 years of corporate accounting experience.
• Solid working knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage month-end close processes for client engagements.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, depreciation, and reclassifications.
• Perform reconciliations across balance sheet accounts.
• Produce monthly financial statements and variance analyses.
• Support year-end close and coordination with auditors.
• Maintain GL, COA, and vendor customer lifecycle processes.
• Provide client training and guidance on accounting processes.
• Identify internal control gaps and propose improvements.
