Job summary

NOW CFO is seeking an Accounting Manager Advisory Consultant in Atlanta to lead day-to-day accounting for client engagements on a fractional, interim, or project basis. You will assess processes, close activities, reconciliations, and internal controls, delivering practical improvements with engagement leadership.

You have 2–4 years in public accounting and 2–4 years in corporate accounting, with strong GAAP knowledge, attention to detail, and client-facing communication to drive reliable

Qualifications

• 2–4 years public accounting experience
• 2–4 years corporate accounting experience
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls understanding

Responsibilities

• Own and manage month-end close processes for client organizations
• Prepare journal entries including accruals, prepaid expenses, depreciation and reclassifications
• Perform and review reconciliations across balance sheet accounts
• Prepare monthly financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Identify internal control gaps and recommend improvements
• Support process optimization and ERP system enhancements
