Job summary

NexTier Completion Solutions Inc. is seeking Field Mechanics to support NexTier Frac operations in Marshall, TX. Entry to Level 3 mechanics will diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy equipment with a focus on reliability and safety.

You will mentor junior staff, oversee maintenance orders in SAP, and participate in HSE meetings and training sessions to drive continuous improvement and compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or applicable experience.
• 1–10 years in a related field as a mechanic or tech.
• Experience with SAP maintenance orders preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on engines, electrical, HVAC, suspension, transmission, brakes, hydraulic and cryogenic systems.
• Plan and execute maintenance programs; supervise maintenance operations.
• Create and manage maintenance orders in SAP NetWeaver or SAP Fiori.
• Mentor entry-level mechanics and coordinate training.
• Ensure DOT compliance through inspections and certifications.
• Lead safety meetings and report hazards; participate in HSE activities.
• Communicate effectively with regional teams and district managers.
• Maintain and review maintenance records.
• Inspect repairs and return equipment to production.
