Job summary

Center at Foresight is seeking an Infection Control Nurse to join our team in Grand Junction, CO. The role focuses on preventing infections through robust programs, data analysis, training, and cross-department collaboration.

The ideal candidate is a licensed RN, with CIC certification preferred and at least 2 years of infection prevention experience. You will work in a healthcare environment with state-of-the-art facilities and patient-centered care, contributing to ongoing quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of CDC, OSHA, WHO standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee infection prevention and control programs.
• Monitor infection data and identify trends; implement corrective actions.
• Conduct staff training on infection prevention best practices.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and guidelines.
• Investigate outbreaks and recommend interventions.
• Collaborate across departments to maintain infection control policies.
• Provide guidance on hand hygiene, PPE usage, and sterilization techniques.
• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments.
