Job summary

Center at Foresight is seeking an Infection Control Nurse to lead infection prevention efforts in a healthcare setting. You will develop and oversee programs, analyze infection trends, and train staff to follow best practices in infection prevention and control.

The role requires an RN with a valid license and 2+ years in infection prevention; CIC is preferred. You will ensure compliance with CDC/OSHA/WHO standards and collaborate across departments to maintain high safety standards.

Qualifications

• RN with valid license.
• CIC certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of infection prevention experience.
• Strong knowledge of CDC/OSHA/WHO guidelines.
• Excellent communication and training skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee infection prevention and control programs.
• Monitor and analyze infection data to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct training programs for healthcare staff on infection prevention practices.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal infection control regulations and guidelines.
• Investigate infection outbreaks and recommend interventions.
• Collaborate with departments to maintain infection control policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance on hand hygiene, PPE usage, and sterilization techniques.
• Conduct audits and risk assessments to ensure protocol adherence.
