Job summary

Orqa FPV is seeking a hands-on Field Application Engineer to manage payload and radio integrations on our FPV airframes, lead live demonstrations for customers, and oversee field testing. The role requires remote work within US Eastern Time Zone with strong preference for Bradenton/Sarasota, FL area, and regular nationwide travel.

You will flash and configure platforms in Betaflight, perform Acro-mode demos, and coordinate on-site at client facilities to validate integrations, test payloads, and

Qualifications

• Proven FPV multirotor flight experience in full Acro mode.
• Proficient Betaflight configuration through CLI and Configurator.
• Hands-on experience with RF protocols and payload integration.

Responsibilities

• Payload & Radio Integrations: Mount, wire, verify payloads and configure links; build harnesses and ensure power delivery.
• Customer Demonstrations & Flight Operations: Lead live customer demos, travel to sites, perform pre-flight procedures and acceptance flights.
• Field Support & Hardware Triage: Diagnose field issues on-site, document pinouts, provide quick-start guidance and troubleshooting.
