Job summary

AITAN is expanding its US engineering team in Mahwah, NJ. This hands-on role focuses on piloting FPV aircraft for testing and demonstrations, while also building and integrating new airframes, payloads, and software.

You’ll contribute to R&D at the Mahwah facility and travel to field sites for real-world validation. Requirements include 2+ years FPV experience, the ability to work in manual/acro mode, FAA Part 107 certificate (or willingness to obtain in 90 days), and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on FPV experience.
• Proven ability to pilot FPV aircraft in manual/acro mode.
• Experience building and repairing quadcopters (5-inch class).
• US citizenship required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Pilot FPV aircraft for test flights, integration, and demonstrations.
• Execute structured flight test plans and document results.
• Work on-site in Mahwah, NJ with engineering team; prototype builds and bench testing.
• Build, repair, and tune aircraft; review DVR footage and flight logs for feedback.
• Support field operations and customer demos, travel to field sites as needed.
