Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Linthicum, MD seeks FPGA Verification Engineers (Level 3/4) to verify RTL code for complex FPGA systems using VUnit. You will develop testbenches, VIPs, and coverage models, drive simulations, and analyze failures with design teams to ensure correct functionality.

Candidates should have 3+ years of FPGA verification experience with VUnit and HDL knowledge (Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL). DoD clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3+ years of FPGA verification using VUnit.
• HDL code development in Verilog, SystemVerilog and VHDL.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional verification of RTL code for complex FPGA at block and SOC levels using VUnit.
• Develop testbenches, tests, VIPs, verification models, coverage models, and run extensive simulations.
• Analyze failures, diagnose root causes, and collaborate with designers to fix issues.
