Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 10+ years hardware design, product planning/management, customer support or technical marketing experience
• 10+ years experience with semiconductors (FPGA, ASIC/ASSP, processors) development/manufacturing
• 8+ years experience interacting with customers
• 15+ years total experience in semiconductor or related role (FPGA/ASIC/SOC) preferred
• Knowledge of FPGA architecture and development methodology

Responsibilities

• Lead definition and planning for next generation Altera FPGA or product family
• Own roadmap for one future device/product family including prioritization and communication
• Lead cross-functional team to establish Plan of Record across Eng, Marketing, and Applications
• Participate in leadership forums and synthesize MRD inputs into PRD
• Network with stakeholders to drive customer requirements into product definitions
